Justice Arun Mishra who was heading a three-judge bench of the supreme court said today “The careers of the students cannot put under jeopardy” and it dismissed a petition by 11 students from different states to postpone the NEET and JEE.
Justice Arun Mishra further said – “Life cannot be stopped. We have to move ahead with all safeguards. Are the students ready to waste one whole year? Are you going to wait one more year? Do you know what is the loss to the country and peril to the students is? ”
Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, who represented the NTA, informed the court that all safeguards will be taken for conducting the exams.
